ABOUT THE PRODUCT

A mechanical seal or shaft seal is used in various machines and equipment, especially pumps. It is used to prevent liquids or gases from escaping from the inside of a rotating shaft while at the same time preventing foreign matter from entering the housing of the machine. Mechanical seals are widely used and are a proven method of preventing leakage in pump systems. They are particularly beneficial in applications with demanding operating conditions, such as high temperatures, high pressure or aggressive media. Nevertheless, they require regular maintenance and monitoring to ensure optimal performance.
